Video on Demand: "The War of the Worlds!"... with John Larroquette

Every now and then, we find the perfect guest star for the perfect role in the perfect show. On October 25th, 2008, we has that moment and shared it with about 250 people on the “I Love Lucy” soundstage at Hollywood Center Studios:

John Larroquette as Professor Richard Pierson in The Mercury Radio Theater’s “The War of the Worlds”.

This radio broadcast is easily the most famous - or infamous - in US history. And now: we’d like to share why. Our incredible guest star is John Larroquette, the four-time Emmy Award-winning actor, who famously won four, consecutive Emmys for his portrayal of Dan Fielding on the hit sitcom "Night Court". John plays Professor Richard Pierson, the role that made Orson Welles an overnight, international sensation.

Our show was recorded with a single camera in standard definition (or “SD”) and features:

  • "Fly Me To the Moon" sung by longtime Fake Radio cast member Jen Hasty

  • A mostly accurate version of “The Life of Orson Welles”, written by David Koff

  • Our feature presentation: a dramatic recreation of "The War of the Worlds"

NOW’S YOUR CHANCE!

Tickets are on sale now and your video-on-demand will be available to view from the afternoon of Friday, February 4th until Saturday, February 26th, 2022.
